Piano Quartets by Suk, Martinů & Dvořák
Sunday, September 3 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free – $30.00
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of live chamber music – the first program in our new 2023-24 International Concert Series – as we present three powerful piano quartets by Czech Composers, Suk, Martinů & Dvořák.
The concert will showcase two, historic and world-famous instruments in the hands of our visiting artists Masumi Per Rostad & Guy Johnston – an Amati Viola from 1619 and a Stradivarius Cello from 1692. These two beautiful instruments will join a very recent violin made in 2023 by one of the greatest living violin makers, Glen Collins. Alongside these three wonderful string instruments, will be our own beautiful Concert Steinway, originally made in 1964 in Hamburg and beautifully restored in 2019 in Berlin.
Whether you’re a seasoned classical music enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, this concert promises to be an unmissable afternoon of musical bliss.
Book your tickets now and join us in the scenic surroundings of Alyson’s Orchard this Labor Day weekend!
