Passion & Elegy: Romantic Piano Trios in Montague MA

November 6 @ 7:30 pm
Free – $50
Three musicians—a violinist, cellist, and pianist—stand at the front of a stage, smiling and acknowledging applause from an audience in a warmly lit room with a grand piano in the background.

A program of elegiac beauty and luminous color, tracing the piano trio from Rachmaninoff’s youthful lament through Gade’s graceful Romantic miniatures to Ravel’s dazzling fusion of poetry, rhythm, and instrumental brilliance.
