About

Founded in the Summer of 2017 by British Musicians, Louisa Stonehill & Nicholas Burns, Ashuelot Concerts believes that Chamber Music has the power to touch, transform and inspire anyone who experiences it live. Ashuelot Concerts aims to bring the sounds of world-class performers to Keene, giving heartfelt performances of narrative programs, always accompanyed by insightful explanation and education outreach. For its inaugural season in 2017/18, Ashuelot Concerts will be presenting three events at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College alongside a series of house concerts and illustrated talks in both Keene and Brattleboro. Ashuelot Concerts will also be working with local school children, striving to inspire the next generation, captivate their musical imagination and encouraging them to develop their ability to truly listen. In time, Ashuelot Concerts hopes to build a community of local music-lovers, from long-standing classical music afficionados to those who have never attended a concert, but are curious to find out more about classical music.
